Here's a boy and his best friend, his cat. They are sharing some 'down time' in their teepee in the garden, each reading his preferred comic. I remember making a camp in the garden when I was little, and I didn't even mind the earwigs too much! Great place to hang out away from all the grown ups.

I used my Staedler waterproof pens to draw outlines and then coloured it digitally. I enjoyed using different textures for the elements of the picture as well as real fabric in the layers.

This lovely print will come to you on Matte Archive paper, brilliant for keeping it's colour and mounted in a card frame with a cellophane bag to keep it looking as special as when it left my studio.

It makes a great gift for a child's bedroom, or for a nostalgic gift for a friend.
