Hide and Seek is a story about a little girl playing with her friend, the squirrel. We are lucky enough to have beautiful red squirrels here on the Isle of Wight; sometimes they are rusty red, sometimes orange or brown, or even black! but they're still 'Red Squirrels'. This picture is set at Ventnor Botanical Gardens.
 
I used my Staedler pencil to draw outlines and then coloured it digitally. I'm very inspired by animal antics and love to wonder exactly what it is they are thinking about.
 
This lovely print will come to you on Matte Archive paper, brilliant for keeping it's colour and mounted in a card frame with a cellophane bag to keep it looking as special as when it left my studio.
