Green Man Spirit print: pagan folk lore, faerie, nature symbol, springtime gift.
 
I love the idea of The Green Man, he symbolises new life and nature and is used by many different cultures - however, I find he is usually depicted as having fallen out of the ugly tree, hitting every branch on the way down. I thought he needed to be a bit more handsome, so I've produced this lovely sunny illustration. It is as though he is walking through a sunny glade.
 
Look out for the ladybird! She's in there somewhere.
 
I drew him and the leaves with a soft pencil, then coloured it with my airbrush on Photoshop. I often use this method as it gives some awesome results.
 
The illustration is printed on Epsom Archival Matte paper and comes in a 10x8 inch mount (25.5cmx20cm), with a image size of 8x6 inches (20x15.25cm). It will be posted in a card stiffened envelope and is sealed in cellophane.
